Vacation Bible School - "High Seas Expedition"
June 14-18, 2010

The week began with a special skit invitation at the Sunday service prior to VBS week, starring VBS “Ship Captain”, Ruthie Wilder, led by “Admiral One-Eyed Bo”.  The group set sail for a 5 day Bible excursion with a crew of 40 children, ages 3 to 13 in St. Mark’s Parish Hall.  Crew members re-enacted Bible stories, went on a “God sighting” on the grounds, sang and dance to praise songs, participated in games of sharing and enjoyed faith-based crafts.  At the end of the week, the children sang some of the songs they learned at the Sunday service.
